In a lifetime of caring for people, teaching, writing, broadcasting, mountain walking, hiking, climbing, road running, reading (philosophy, theology, poetry, history, botany, zoology, geology, astronomy – you name it) and exploring nature’s secrets, Tim is happiest in the mountains and the veld in conversation with nature and good company. Retired after forty years in the Methodist ministry, he is active in the Mountain Club of South Africa (Cape Town Section) and the Botanical Society of South Africa (Kirstenbosch branch).
Greg Andrews
Experienced Mountain Guide, rock climber, facilitator, life guide, believer in human resilience and creativity, a natural listener, Greg brings a sense of humour and joy for life to all he does. Fifteen years experience in various NGO’s and the Methodist Church of Southern Africa has seen Greg helping countless people in crisis or in dealing with the realities of their lives. Greg is the founder of Headstraight, an organization that helps people find their way in figurative or real mountains.

Zoology graduate, rock climber, dive master, leader in summer camps with Camp America in the USA, sportswoman, Kathy brings a passion for outdoor adventure, natural affinity with young people and skill in helping people of all ages to engage with nature and themselves that is laid back and expert at the same time.
Catherine Beneke
Geography an
d Human Movement Studies graduate, qualified teacher, outdoor education assistant in Australia, rock climber, trained in abseil supervision and involved in mountain search and rescue, lifelong involvement in the Scout movement and a qualified medic, Catherine combines skills in developing fitness with delight in outdoor adventure and an understanding of nature.
Errol Gray
Graduate in Theology and a skilled facilitator in leadership and inter-personal relationship enhancement, Errol has spent decades in South Africa, Australia and the United Kingdom enabling leaders, managers and executives in the retail and financial services sectors to develop a positive self understanding and an ability to manage and interact with people in ways that are creative, life affirming and productive.
